Discover the region of Mahebouh in the South east of Mauritius, and start at the traditional Cassava Biscuit Factory where you will see the process of a 100 year old biscuit recipe still today made in the traditional way. Follow the visit in the market of Mahebourg, an important street market where sellers will showcase their products from the craft products to the vegetable corners and even the fresh fish caught by the local fisherman of the region. You can enjoy this time for some street food or if you prefer, our representative will drive you to a restaurant of the region of your choice. End the tour through a relaxing and entertaining Basket Weaving session. In a local workshop of the region, learn an ancestral tradition of basket weaving and create your own basket made with the "vacoas leaves". The lady will teach you step by step the process of the basket weaving while you while create you basket and enjoy some fresh fruits and juice.
