Visit the Capital City Port-Louis by starting with a panoramic view of the entire city and the port from the Fort Adelaide. Next you will enter the streets of the China Town and stroll between the history and the present. You will then reach the Jummah Mosque, the oldest Mosque of the island found between China Town and the Market. The Traditional Market is a lively buzzling area where each day thousands of Mauritian pass by. Discover this market with the representative and immersed yourself in this local atmosphere. Leaving the Capital city, the guide will bring you further to the north of the island with a stop at the village of Pamplemousse. You will discover the famous Pamplemousse Botanical Garden and its rich and important history since the French colonial period. Stroll in the the garden and see its impressive collection of plants from across the world learn. Further in the North, set foot in the coastal village of Grand Baie, the most lively and touristic village of the island. This village harbors the a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars.
