An ideal temperature for the fields of tea of Bois Cheri. Discover these fields and spot the ladies handpicking the leaves that will later on be transported to the factory. Visit the Bois Cheri Factory and see how the leaves are processed up to its final stage. Learn a bit more on the history of the tea in the museum then head to a tea tasting moment that will allow you to enjoy the rich flavours of the tea. Take some time for some wonderful picture of the region. Further down in the south, where nature prevails more, enter the La Vanille Nature Reserve. The Reserve with its big trees, verdant and luxuriant nature is in itself a haven. Stroll in the reserve and meet the giant tortoise, and its nursery, see the bats, the crocodiles from the Nile, the lemuria and many more animals. Do not miss the insectarium, an impressive and very vast collection of insects from around the world. A wonderful Nature Reserve that the young and less younger will love. End the visit of La Vanille with a lot of memories then head further down to the south at Gris-Gris. See a different coastline of Mauritius where the sea crashes on the cliffs. From Gris Gris, a few meters further get closer to the wild sea at La Roche Qui Pleure.
