This trek allows for you to have a more in-depth look at the Mauritian biodiversity, and also learn how this delicate ecosystem works and how to preserve it. All through the woodland, trekkers will encounter endemic and endangered plants like the Bois Chandelle and the Bois de Natte, and also an assortment of wild orchids and vegetation. Walking through you may see a White-tailed Tropicbird, an Echo Parakeet, or a little Mauritian fruit bat, called "Roussette", as well as an extensive variety of other endemic species. Once you reach Frederica Waterfall, take some time to appreciate its beauty and relax in the serene atmosphere At the foor of Frederica Waterfall Enjoy a delicious picnic while you Listen to the sounds of nature, feel the mist from the waterfall,and play some traditional games of Molky and Tic Tac Toe, without being disturbed by mosquitoes.
