You will then visit a Ship Model Factory, where several craftmen are meticulously creating breathtaking 100% artisanal boat models of different sizes. Leaving Curepipe, you will head towards the Black River Gorges forest and stop at a Mauritian Wine Factory where you will discover and taste a particular wine created in Mauritius. A few kilometers further, hidden within the forest is the Grand Bassin Sacred Lake guarded by two giants statues of 33 meters high. Visit the Gaga Talao temple and discover the different Hindu gods and goddesses. Driving through the National park, the guide will make various stops for the views of the forest. On the other side of the park lays the small village of Chamarel which seems to live at its own pace. Enter Chamarel Rhum factory for a visit and understanding of the Rum process and enjoy the end of the visit with the different sugarcane rhum tasting. Continue with the discovery of the 7 Colored Earth park. Upon entering the Parc, pay attention tp the coffee trees on the side of the roads.
